The September Cars & Coffee Rochester was a Great Hit! The sensational weather brought out a crowd of car enthusiasts representing a great cross section of vehicles including rare custom hot rods, custom show cars, rat rods, motorcycles, trucks, classic cars, preserved cars, trucks, race cars and of course the superbly restored muscle cars in the Museum. Folks snapped up the discounted memorabilia to support the Scholarship Fund and East Coast Hot Rod gave out goody bags and stickers. The buzz is that this may not be the last show of the year! Sunday September 7th 2014 was Fabulous!
Cars for Cancer – “It’s a Guy Thing” – Sunday September 7th 2014 – marked the first annual BayTowne Car Show at BayTowne Plaza, 1900 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY. Hot rods, motorcycles, classic cars, rare birds, and amazing customs turned out on a beautiful day to raise funds for US Too Rochester to increase awareness of prostate cancer and for the Camp Good Days Prostate Cancer Program. The judges awarded 60 beautiful sponsor trophies! Awesome raffle prizes donated by sponsors to raise money included: tv, leaf blower, battery charger, 2 years of car service, car care kits, 8 person wine tasting, jumper cables, restaurant & coffee shop gift cards, movie, planetarium & art gallery passes, fitness club membership, Catalog discount coupons from Peerless, Surf City, Care kits from Eagle One and Castle and other prizes! Regisrants got samples from Surf City Garage, coupons, info and dash plaques in their goody bags.
Exhibits included displays by Admar, AP Enterprise, Vietnam Veterans Chapter 20, and the West Webster Fire Dept.
Susie Roe was grillin’ tasty treats and Uncle Russ was slingin’ Italian Ice!
DiMarco Group provided a clean, safe, beautiful venue for the gorgeous cars to be displayed and spectators participated in raffles and general fun throughout the day. Everyone can’t wait for next year!

Had a great time at Cars & Coffee Rochester, on Saturday August 30th 2014! Members of the Syracuse Corvette club cruised in, a truck from Louisiana, folks from Buffalo, Geneseo, and all over Northern NY met to enjoy each others rides and the pristine cars in the Rochester Auto Museum. The darling of the day was the lime light green Plymouth Superbird, rated #1 Condition Mopar All Star Winner Best of all Birds.
“Rock City Sammich” and the Smoothies trucks provided drinks and nourishment, and the weather was absolutely perfecto! Check out the photos on the Cars & Coffee 08/2014 page. Make sure you reserve Saturday September 27th to come to the final Cars & Coffee Rochester of 2014!
The Fourth Annual Wayne County Car Show held Saturday August 23, 2014 at Casey Park Ontario, NY. was another successful car show. Although the threat of rain kept many hot rods at home, those that did come out had a great time receiving excellent goody bags and dash plaques! 60 Sponsor trophies made by Arcadia Sports & custom built trophies from Todd Buhler were awarded, Prizes given out included gift certificates, Eagle One Car Care Kits, and a 32″ flat screen TV.
We want to thank the wonderful local businesses that sponsored trophies including Watchdog Building Partners, J & J Auto, Profetta Garage Door Co., Brennan Automotive, The Toolranch, Lazzaro Performance, Apexx Building & Contracting, Pugsleys Marine, T&C Gutter Co., Lance’s Automotive, Rochester Auto Museum, Factory Direct Trailers, B&C Auto Restoration & Paint, Wayne County Automotive, Danes Welding Supplies and the Automotive products manufacturers that supported the show including Rock City, Summit Racing, Eagle One, Auto Finishers Supply Co., American Racing Wheels, Painless Performance Products, JEGS, LMC Truck, Eastwood, Eaton Spring and HotRod OnLine. The first show is behind us now. I would like to thank one last time, all of the volunteers and members that gave so much time and energy to the show. In many ways, this show was a great success. It did not rain, everybody that attended had a great time and we were able to welcome 13 new members that signed up at the show. But as we look back, we would be foolish not to learn lessons from the things that did not go as planned. Now that we have taken some time to talk through them, I will try to summarize the lessons learned. Continue reading »
